For Honor fans may still boycott the game even after Ubisoft address lack of communication. The Steam PC community – which represents only some of the players, as the game is available through uPlay – has dropped off since launch, but maintains enough concurrents to find a match.
Yesterday, Redditor Jbaayoun proposed a “blackout.” For 24 hours, on April 3, For Honor players would boycott the game. 11,000 people upvoted the post. A list of proposed changes followed it.
Because of this, thousands of players agree on Reddit to boycott the game by participating in a 24-hour “blackout”. Reddit user Jbaayoun made the suggestion post on the game’s subreddit page, that on April 3rd— today— no one plays or logs into For Honor’s server in protest of Ubisoft handling in lack of communication and player negligence.
For Honor players planned to boycott the game on April 3rd but after Ubisoft’s latest patch, the community seems more divided than ever.

Update: The For Honor community has decided to call off the boycott following a Ubisoft livestream that took place this morning. During the stream, producer Stéphane Cardin and game directors Damien Kieken and Roman Campos-Oriola addressed many of the major complaints raised by the community.
